Edgar Nickel is a German pool player . He is a three-time German individual champion .

Career

In 1979 Nickel was the first ever German champion in the 14/1 discipline . A year later he lost in the final against Waldemar Markert . In 1983 he again succeeded in becoming German champion in 14/1 endless, in 1986 he was German 9-ball champion and fourth in 14/1 endless.

At the German championship in 1987 he won bronze endlessly in 14/1 and took part in the Wetten, dass ..? - Broadcast on December 20, 1987 . He made a bet that he could punch sixteen balls in one shot, and he did. At the German Championships in 1989 and 1990 , Nickel again won bronze in the 14/1 endless. In addition, he was with PBC Oftersheim in 1989 and 1990 German 14/1 endless team champion and in 1990 German 8-ball team champion . In addition, he organized several trick-shot shows together with multiple world and European champion Oliver Ortmann .
