Björn Jonsson (pool player)

Björn Jonsson is a Swedish pool player . He was three times European champion .

Career

After Jonsson lost the 8-ball final at the 1982 European Championship against his compatriot Bengt Jonasson and in 1983 the 14/1 endless final against the Norwegian Bjørn L'Orange , he became 8-ball in 1984 with a final win against his compatriot Ulf Hjalmvall -European Champion. He was able to successfully defend this title in 1985 and 1986 against the Swedes Mikael Hallgren and Tom Storm respectively . In 1987 Jonsson lost the 8-ball final against Hjalmvall.
