The Pool Championship 1984 was the European Pool Billiard Association EPBF in London being transferred snooker competition .

The disciplines 8-ball and 14/1 were played out endlessly .

The European champions were the Swedes Bengt Pedersen and Björn Jonsson , who were both vice European champions in the other discipline last year . Bruno Ernst won endlessly as the best German silver in 14/1, Peter Haidinger and Günter Geisen won bronze in 8-ball. In the women’s category, Sweden’s Eva Eleholt became endlessly European champion in 14/1 with a final win against German Franziska Stark . Stark won her first European Championship medal with silver. In the 8-ball final, Sylvia Buschhüter was able to prevail against defending champion Klara Lensing .
