Sylvia Buschhüter (born December 3, 1962 ) is a German pool player .

Career

In 1983 she achieved her first medal at the European Pool Billiards Championship when she won the bronze medal in discipline 14 and 1 endless . Only one year later she became European champion for the first time in London - this time in the 8-ball discipline . In 1986 and 1987 she won a bronze medal - 1986 in 9-ball and the following year in 14 and 1 endless. In 1988 and 1989 she made it back to the finals of the European Championships in 14 and 1 endlessly, but was defeated in each final by Louise Furberg from Sweden.

In 1991 she won her second European title in Italy; again in the 8-ball discipline. A year later, another bronze medal was added (in 8-ball) before winning the European title in 9-ball in 1997 in Stavanger, Norway .

In 2008 she was able to win two more European Championship titles (8-ball and 9-ball) , now playing in the ladies age group .

In addition to her five European championship titles, Sylvia Buschhüter , who has meanwhile moved from BSC Ingolstadt to BC Miesbach , has also won several German championship titles and has already won several titles since switching to the ladies age group in 2007.
