The Pool Championship 1990 was the European Pool Billiard Association EPBF in St. Moritz material discharged snooker tournament . After 1982 it was the second European Championship in Switzerland .

The European champions in the disciplines 8-ball , 9-ball and 14/1 endlessly as well as the European team champions were played.

In the men's 14/1 endless, the German Oliver Ortmann successfully defended his title from the previous year in the final against Waldemar Markert . Thomas Engert succeeded in doing this in 9-Ball against Sweden's Mikael Hallgren . Defending champion Ralf Souquet lost to the Swede Tom Storm in the 8-ball final . The Germans Andreas Vondenhoff and Norbert Lang as well as the Swiss Samuel Fasel each won a bronze medal.

The Swede Louise Furberg won the final against the German Andrea Kroll for the fourth time in a row European champion in 14/1 endless. In the 8-ball final, the German Ilona Bernhard defeated the Swiss Jacqueline von Kanel . Defending champion Gerda Hofstätter won bronze. In the 9-ball final, Franziska Stark won against Klara Lensing and was 9-ball European champion for the third time in a row after 1988 and 1989.

The Swedish team became European men's champions in the final against Germany. Switzerland won bronze. In the women's finals, Switzerland won the European championship against Germany. Austria won bronze.
