Lars Harald Riiber (also Lars Harold Riiber ) is a Norwegian pool player .

Career

In 1985 Lars Harald Riiber won his first medals at the Norwegian men's championship . He finished third in the 14/1 endless and after a final defeat against Torstein Wik, he finished second in the 9-ball . A year later he became Norwegian champion in 9-ball in the final against Reidar-Rune Larsen . At the 1986 European Championships he came third in 8-ball and 9-ball. In 1987 he won the national championship in 8-ball, a year later in 9-ball. At the EM 1990 he was third in 9-ball. After becoming Norwegian 14/1 endless champions three times in a row from 1988 to 1990, he lost the 1991 final to Vegar Kristiansen . At the EM 1992 Riiber won the bronze medal in 14/1 endless. In 1994 he became the Norwegian champion for the last time in 8-ball by beating Vegar Kristiansen in the final.

With the Norwegian national team, Riiber was five times European Championship third (1986, 1988 , 1989 , 1990, 1992).

Collision

Riiber is also successful in the billiard variant of carom . In November 2015 he reached the final of the Norwegian championship in the three- cushion discipline and was only just defeated by Ismail Rukan Ercan with 23:24. In 2016, he took first place in the overall ranking of the Norwegian carom tournament series.
