Biagio Proietti

Biagio Proietti (born June 23, 1940 in Rome ) is an Italian screenwriter and film director .

Proietti mainly writes crime stories for television, which he writes with his wife Diana Crsipo. In the 1970s and 1980s, numerous series were shaped by his work, including Un certo Harry Brent , Lungo il fiume e sull'acqua and I racconti fantastici di Edgar Allan Poe . Dove è Anna and Philo Vance received special feedback . Proietti also writes for the radio and the theater, and several books have appeared in the new millennium. He had already written for the film in the mid-1960s, but left this field of work (with the exception of a foray into the horror genre in 1981) to concentrate on his television books. After directing several television films since 1978, he directed two comedies in 1984 and 1986. Proietti was also active in the documentary field.

Proietti is a board member of the Italian Society for the Protection of Authors' Rights Società Italiana degli Autori ed Editori ("SIAE" or SIAE).
