Bogdan does this job sullenly and continues to sweeten his work with a lot of schnapps. After one of the neighbors sells him a cow, the local grocer Pawel advises him to play this classical music in order to get more milk. Bogdan thinks this is stupid gossip, but in his lethargy does it anyway. Soon his cow is giving very special milk that intoxicates the whole village.

Bit by bit Bogdan notices that the cow is not an ordinary cow and believes that he has found his late love Izabela in her. His mother Katharina and daughter Anna do not want to hear about it, only Pavel is behind him. When the vet tells Bogdan that the cow will soon die too, Bogdan threatens to fall into a hole again. But the love of his daughter and the prospect of a grandchild can save him from that.
