List of cultural assets in Krauchthal

The list of cultural assets in Krauchthal contains all objects in the municipality of Krauchthal in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects of category A are not shown in the municipality, objects of category B are fully included in the list, objects of category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

Around 1830 built fire station in framework construction with clock tower. The building was specially built to hold a bell from the Hettiswil monastery, which was closed in 1528 . The farmhouse vis-à-vis was born in 1787 and is a Bohlenständerbau under three quarters hipped roof with Hochstüden , two vaulted cellars and central, two-storey preserved black kitchen, flanked by offices.

The residential cave , which has been in use since prehistoric times and has been permanently inhabited since 1565, is a wooden house built into a sandstone cavern in a plank frame construction with two apartments, which has been accessed by a cable car since 1993. This includes a small farm with a cow and pig sty.

The hall church in the baroque style , built in 1792 by foreman Ludwig Emanuel Zehender, is a massive, plastered hall building with a three-eighth choir under a bent roof with a central clock tower in front; the choir windows made in 1922 come from Rudolf Münger . Next door is the rectory , built in 1733 , a representative plastered building under a quarter hipped roof with individual half-timbered facade parts and a toilet tower.

Castle built in the years 1756 to 1763 in place of a charterhouse from the 12th century , since 1848 used as the administration building of the penal institution . Representative, longitudinally rectangular plastered building with rich sandstone structure under bent full hipped roofs . The central structure, which has not been significantly changed either inside or outside, has five closely lined windows on the courtyard side and eight on the garden side and is flanked by recessed side wings under its own roof.
