List of cultural assets in Wynigen

The list of cultural assets in Wynigen contains all objects in the municipality of Wynigen in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in category A are fully included in the list, objects in category B are not shown in the municipality, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

The inn , built around 1790, is a splendid late baroque plastered building with two floors under a mansard hipped roof . The aExcellent structured, five-axis house front rests on a Justein plinth with cellar hatches; in front of it there is a terrace. A hall was added to the rear around 1900, a half-timbered construction on high cement pillars.

The rectory , built in 1630, is an excellent solid building in the style of the Renaissance - Gothic . The two-story plastered building has a crooked hip roof on all-round bench cornices and an oak door under a rectangularly framed arched lintel with a Latin building inscription and a chronogram .

The farmhouse , built in 1809, is a splendid plank frame construction resting on a limestone base under a hipped roof with stage and side arbors. The main facade, which is oriented to the southeast, has arched windows on the upper floor and a clapboard edge that was added later. The high-quality entrance door made of oak is equipped with original door handles and a skylight .

1653 erected fountains of limestone with intricately curved monolithic pools and typical of the time scalloped fountain Stock and emblem flags. Two tubes supported by wrought iron brackets spring from grimaces . The «Wildbrunnen» is named after the innkeeper Tobias Wild, who saved the village from punishment by the authorities after the peasant war was lost .

The so-called Heidestock is a purpose-built in the first half of the 16th century memory . Sandstone cuboid structure with two upper floors and a gable roof standing on a hollowed molasse hump . Simple tuff grids of various shapes serve as air sources. In terms of shape and construction time, this building is unique.

The farmhouse , built in 1681, is one of the oldest in the Canton of Bern. The imposing post structure with a fully hipped roof has become known as the setting for the films Uli the Knecht and Uli the Tenant . The house is decorated with carved window posts and a continuous window sill with a cube frieze, the western eaves side is painted with inscriptions and the date of construction.
