List of cultural assets in Koppigen

The list of cultural assets in Koppigen contains all objects in the municipality of Koppigen in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of June 29 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

The former inn in the hamlet of St. Niklaus, built in 1824, is a solid white plastered building with sandstone structures. The symmetrically proportioned building under a mansard roof with dormer windows is stylistically somewhere between late baroque and classicism, reminiscent of a manorial country house . Next door is the bear floor, one built in the last quarter of the 18th century, white plastered Stöckli with kinked full-hipped roof .

A former inn in the hamlet of Oeschberg, built in 1832, converted into a retirement home for agricultural workers in 1906. Five-axis solid construction with a classicistic character based on the original of the Bären inn in St. Niklaus under a distinctive mansard roof with curved porticos . Inside, the furnishings have largely been preserved in their original condition.

Church building built in the first half of the 14th century. The stately Gothic complex consists of the nave and the retracted, arched rectangular choir . The tower, restored in 1529/30 after a fire, stands in the corner between the nave and the choir. The interior is equipped with a striking triumphal arch , a ribbed vault and a baroque communion table.

Formerly an official granary from 1645/46 in an exposed location in the hamlet of St. Niklaus. Late Gothic solid construction, white plastered and with striking sandstone structures. Bent half-hip roof with ridge pole and weather vane , plain tiles and on both sides in each case smaller dormer window .

The school building, built in 1922/23, is an imposing, functional Heimatstil building in solid construction with a mighty, bent hipped roof . The eleven-axis on the garden side has side projections framed with pilaster strips and a long balcony, while the north side has a staircase in the central projectile and triangular gable. Around the building there is a green area with various kitchen and ornamental gardens.
