Merry-sur-Authie ( Picard : Frouhin-su-Eutie ) is a northern French municipality with 233 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Amiens , is part of the Communauté de communes du Territoire Nord Picardie and belongs to the canton of Doullens .

geography

The municipality is located on the Authie river on the border with the Pas-de-Calais department .

history

The municipality was created on January 1, 2007 as Commune nouvelle from the merger of the previously independent municipalities Frohen-le-Grand and Frohen-le-Petit . The two previous communities belonged to one rule.

On the southern border of the municipality there are remains of rocket launching ramps of the German Wehrmacht from the Second World War .
