The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Amiens and is part of the Communauté de communes du Territoire Nord Picardie and the canton of Doullens .

The municipality, which has almost grown together with the neighboring municipality of Prouville , is located around three kilometers west-northwest of Bernaville . A large part of the Bois de Ribeaucourt forest in the southwest of the municipality belongs to Beaumetz.
