El Gouna International 2014

The El Gouna International 2014 was held from 13 to 18 April 2014 in El Gouna , Egypt instead. The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2013/14 and belonged to the World Series Gold category .

Defending champion and later tournament winner was Ramy Ashour . In the final he defeated Mohamed Elshorbagy with 11: 7, 12:10, 8:11 and 11: 8, which was the second time he won the tournament.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Zahed Mohamed a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 115,000.
