El Gouna International 2015

The El Gouna International 2015 took place from April 5th to 10th 2015 in el-Guna , Egypt . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2014/15 and belonged to the PSA World Series rating category .

Defending champion was Ramy Ashour , who won the tournament again. In the final he defeated Mohamed Elshorbagy 11: 9, 11: 6, 4:11, 10:12 and 12:10. Ashour had been out of the game due to meniscus surgery since winning the 2014 World Cup and played his first tournament in five months with the El Gouna International.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 32 players, eight of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Zahed Mohamed a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

In the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points are paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 150,000.
