Mohd Nafiizwan Bin Mohd Adnan (born April 24, 1986 in Kuala Terengganu ) is a former Malaysian squash player .

Career

Mohd Nafiizwan Adnan was active on the PSA World Tour from 2004 and won eleven titles. He reached his highest place in the world rankings with rank 26 in May 2017. With the Malaysian national team he took part in 2005 , 2007 , 2009 , 2011 , 2013 and 2017 world championships. At the 2010 Asian Games , he won the silver medal with the national team, followed by another silver medal in 2014 . In 2018 he finally secured the gold medal with the team, in the individual he won bronze. With the team he was also Asian champion in 2006 and 2008 . He was also able to win this title in singles when he defeated his compatriot Ong Beng Hee in the final in 2011 . At the Commonwealth Games 2018 he reached the individual semi-finals, in which he was defeated by James Willstrop . In the bronze medal match, he beat Joel Makin in five sets. In 2015 and 2016 he was the Malaysian national champion. He ended his career in June 2019.

Adnan has been married to his long-time girlfriend Aufa Dahlia Bahar since August 2013. His brother Mohd Nafzahizam Adnan was also a squash player.
