Joel Makin (born October 27, 1994 in Pembrokeshire ) is a Welsh squash player .

Career

Joel Makin started his professional career in 2014 and has won three tournaments on the PSA World Tour so far . He reached his highest ranking in the world rankings with rank ten in March 2020. With the Welsh national team , he took part in the World Cup in 2017 and 2019 . In 2013 he made his national team debut at European Championships . At the Commonwealth Games 2014 he was eliminated in the individual competition in the second round against Steven Finitsis . He won the Welsh National Championship in 2016 and qualified for the for the first timeWorld Championship , in which he was eliminated in the first round.
