Maizicourt is a French municipality with 192 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . It is part of the Communauté de communes du Territoire Nord Picardie , belongs to the Arrondissement of Amiens and the Canton of Doullens .
geography
Maizicourt is about nine kilometers northwest of Bernaville and five kilometers south of Auxi-le-Château on the northern edge of the Somme department.
history
The place was first mentioned in a cartular in 1123 as Maisilcourt . In 1420 the place belonged to part of a Jeanne d'Occoches.
