Havernas ( Picard : Havèrno ) is a northern French municipality with 394 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens and belongs to the canton of Flixecourt .

geography

The municipality on the upper reaches of the Nièvre is around 8.5 kilometers east of Domart-en-Ponthieu and 15 kilometers north of Amiens . The disused railway line from Amiens to Doullens touches the municipality to the west.

history

Protestant services were held in the castle of Havernas of the Protestant Saint-Delys family until the Edict of Nantes was revoked .
