Bonnay is a northern French municipality with 237 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the canton of Corbie and is part of the Communauté de communes du Val de Somme .

geography

The community, traversed by the D23 departmental road from Corbie to Doullens , is located in the boggy valley on the right bank of the Ancre and its artificial branch La Boulangerie to the east and extends to the D929 departmental road from Amiens to Bapaume .

history

The place was under the rule of Corbie, who owned the moorland in the valley until 1886.
