Oresmaux ( Picard : Orémieu) is a northern French municipality with 930 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens and belongs to the canton of Ailly-sur-Noye .

Geography and economics

The municipality on the plateau between the Noye and Selle rivers is about fourteen kilometers south of Amiens and ten kilometers northeast of Conty east of the former Route nationale 1 , the Autoroute A16 that runs outside the municipality and a section of the historic Chaussée Brunehaut .

Oresmaux owns a wind farm with an installed capacity of 12 MW.
