Thieulloy-l'Abbaye ( Picard : Tulloy-l'Abbie ) is a northern French municipality with 372 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Amiens and is part of the Communauté de communes Somme Sud-Ouest and the canton of Poix-de-Picardie .
geography
The municipality is located about six kilometers northwest of Poix-de-Picardie and 4.5 kilometers southwest of Hornoy-le-Bourg . To Thieulloy belong the municipality of Le Fays (Fays-lès-Hornoy) in the west and the farms Le Moulin Carouaille in the north and Hermilly in the east.
history
The addition l'Abbaye in the community name is said to go back to a monastic settlement in Le Fays, which is said to have been dependent on the Selincourt Abbey.
