Méricourt-l'Abbé is a northern French municipality with 604 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality belongs to the canton of Corbie and is part of the Communauté de communes du Val de Somme .

geography

The community is located south of the Ancre river on the D120 départemental road from Corbie to Albert, around 6.5 km northeast of Corbie and 9 km southwest of Albert. The Paris – Lille railway with the Méricourt-Ribemont station runs through the municipality .
