Gauville ( Picard : Gueuville ) is a northern French municipality with 346 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Amiens , is part of the Communauté de communes Somme Sud-Ouest and belongs to the canton of Poix-de-Picardie .

geography

The municipality is located around four km east-northeast of Aumale in Normandy and 15.5 km west of Poix-de-Picardie . The municipality extends in the north to the Autoroute A29 and borders on the municipalities of Lafresguimont-Saint-Martin , Morvillers-Saint-Saturnin and Aumale and thus on the Seine-Maritime department . In the west, the municipality slopes down to the valley of the Bresle .
