Fossemanant ( Picard : Fosménant ) is a northern French municipality with 93 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens and belongs to the canton of Ailly-sur-Noye .

geography

The community on the left (western) bank of the Selle is located around 13 kilometers south-southwest of Amiens . It is connected to Nampty by a bridge . The municipality was traversed by the railway line from Amiens to Beauvais, which had been closed since the late 1980s (now expanded as the Coulée verte René-Dumont hiking trail ).
