Méréaucourt ( Picard : Mreucourt ) is a northern French municipality with six inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Amiens , is part of the Communauté de communes Somme Sud-Ouest and belongs to the canton of Poix-de-Picardie .

The municipality is located on the upper reaches of the Évoissons about one kilometer south of Thieulloy-la-Ville near the border of the Somme and Oise departments.

history

In Méréaucourt there was a priory in the 12th century, which was subordinate to the Benedictine abbey in Saint-Valery-sur-Somme .
