The Évoissons (plural form; French: Les Évoissons) are a river in France that runs in the Somme department in the Hauts-de-France region . It rises near the hamlet of Handicourt in the municipality of Hescamps , generally drains north-east to east through a valley rich in lakes, takes in the Ruisseau de Poix below Frémontiers and the Ruisseau des Parquets between Contre and Fleury and flows into the municipality of Conty after a total of around 25 kilometers as a left tributary into the Selle . The width of the watercourse is between two and six meters.
Note: In some maps the left tributary Poix is also referred to as Évoissons (as in the official IGN map on a scale of 1: 50,000). The French water database (Sandre eaufrance) does not support this statement!
