The Poix (French: Rivière de Poix ) is a river in France that runs in the Somme department in the Hauts-de-France region . It rises between the hamlets of Brettencourt and Souplicourt in the municipality of Hescamps , generally drains in an easterly direction and flows after 14 kilometers just below Famechon , but already in the municipality of Frémontiers as a left tributary into the Évoissons . It is sometimes referred to as the northern arm of the Évoissons.
