Grouches-luchuel ( Picard : Grouche-Luchué) is a northern French municipality with 586 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality belongs to the canton of Doullens and is part of the Communauté de communes du Territoire North Picardie .

geography

The community is located around 3.5 km northwest of Doullens on the D5 departmental road in the direction of Grand-Rullecourt ( Pas-de-Calais department ) in the Grouche valley , a tributary of the Authie , which connects the districts of Grouches and Luchuel (on the left bank ) , which were united in 1810 ) separates from each other. The route of the abandoned railway line from Doullens to Abbeville runs through the municipality .
