The Grouche is a small river in France that runs in the Hauts-de-France region . It rises in the municipality of Coullemont , drains generally in a south-westerly direction and flows into the Authie after 16.5 kilometers in the urban area of Doullens , opposite the Doullens citadel , as a right tributary . The Grouche has formed a small, asymmetrical valley with short side valleys on the orographic left side. On its way it crosses the Pas-de-Calais and Somme departments . For a long time it formed the border between Picardy and the historical province of Artois .
