Fréchencourt ( Picard : Fèrchincourt) is a northern French municipality with 263 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the canton of Corbie .

geography

Fréchencourt is mainly located on the right bank of the Hallue river, around ten kilometers northwest of Corbie . The castle is on the western outskirts.

history

The rule already existed in 1280. It came last to the Dincourt family. In December 1870 the Battle of the Hallue took place in the area .
