Asher Ochana

Asher Ochana ( Hebrew אשר אוחנה; * 1945 in Morocco ) is a former Israeli minister of the Shas party .

Life

Ochana immigrated to Israel in 1956 and from 1962 attended the "Chabad" college. He then did his community service and then worked as an accountant. He was Minister for Religious Services from March 7, 2001 to February 28, 2003, making him the only minister without a seat in the Knesset .
