Bacouel-sur-Selle ( Picard : Bacoué-su-Selle ) is a northern French municipality with 501 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Amiens and belongs to the canton of Ailly-sur-Noye .

geography

Most of the municipality is located on the left (western) bank of the Selle and borders the municipality of Creuse in the west . It extends in the east about seven kilometers southwest of Amiens . The municipality is crossed in the north-west by the Amiens- Rouen railway ; it was crossed by the railway line from Amiens to Beauvais , which had been closed since the late 1980s . The district of La Montagne is east of the Selle.
