(7146) Konradin is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on September 24, 1960 by the team CJ van Houten and Ingrid van Houten-Groeneveld on the basis of photographs by Tom Gehrels at the famous Palomar Observatory in California . The name was given in honor of Konradin Ferrari d'Occhieppo , astronomy professor at the University of Vienna (* 1907, † 2007).
Konradin moves at a distance of 2,662 ( perihelion ) to 3,365 ( aphelion ) astronomical units in 5.23 years around the sun . The orbit is inclined 9.409 ° to the ecliptic , the orbit eccentricity is 0.1166.
