Primaries for the 2014 presidential election in Uruguay
The Uruguay 2014 presidential primaries were conducted by the Uruguayan parties to determine nationwide candidates for the 2014 Uruguay presidential election .
They took place on Sunday June 1st, 2014. Each party is a nationwide election in which delegates are elected who will then decide on the candidate at a national party convention.
The primaries will also decide on the candidates for the 2015 local elections .

Front Amplio
- Tabaré Vázquez (winner), doctor and president from 2005 to 2010
- Constanza Moreira , sociologist
Partido Nacional
- Luis Alberto Lacalle Pou (winner), lawyer and MP, son of former President Luis Alberto Lacalle
- Jorge Larrañaga , lawyer and senator
- Álvaro Germano , lawyer
- Alfredo Oliú , civil servant
Partido Colorado
- Pedro Bordaberry (winner), lawyer and senator, son of former President Juan María Bordaberry
- José Amorín Batlle , lawyer and senator
- Manuel Flores Silva , lecturer
Partido Independiente
- Pablo Mieres , lawyer, sociologist and professor
Smaller parties
Other smaller parties will also attend. You need at least 500 votes.

- Partido de la Concertación: José Luis Vega
- Partido de los Trabajadores: Rafael Fernández
- Partido Ecologista Radical Intransigente: César Vega
