Primaries for the 2004 presidential election in Uruguay

The Uruguay 2004 presidential primaries were conducted by the Uruguayan parties to determine nationwide candidates for the 2004 presidential election in Uruguay .

They took place on Sunday June 27, 2004. Each party was a national election in which delegates were elected who then decided on the candidate at a national party congress.

These primaries were also crucial for the candidates for the 2005 local elections .
