Lotte Oldenburg-Wittig
Lotte Oldenburg-Wittig (born February 27, 1896 in Leipzig ; † 1982 ) was a German painter, graphic artist and illustrator.
life and work
Lotte Oldenburg-Wittig studied at the Art Academy in Leipzig. She illustrated numerous books for girls, including the Goldköpfchen series by Magda Trott , the Gisel and Ursel series by Margarete Haller and many books by Emma Gündel . Until the 1950s she mainly worked for Franz Schneider Verlag ; She also illustrated numerous buoy books.
