Bayencourt ( Picard : Bayincourt) is a northern French municipality with 79 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Somme department in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality belongs to the canton of Albert and is part of the Communauté de communes du Pays du Coquelicot .

geography

The small community on the northern edge of Picardy is located on the departmental road D129 between Sailly-au-Bois in the southeast and Souastre in the northwest (both already in the Pas-de-Calais department .)

history

The community received the Croix de guerre 1914-1918 as an award .
