Vraignes-en-Vermandois (Picard: Vraigne-in-Vérmindoé) is a French municipality with 142 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France in northern France. The municipality belongs to the canton of Péronne .

geography

The municipality is located in the Vermandois around 7 km south of Roisel on the D15 and a little north of the 1029 Département road (former Route nationale 29 , part of the system of the Chaussée Brunehaut ). The southern municipal boundary partially forms the border with the Aisne department .

history

The community received the Croix de guerre 1914-1918 as an award .
