Mesnil-Martinsart ( Picard : Au Mouni-Martin Chart) is a northern French municipality with 238 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality belongs to the canton of Albert and is part of the Communauté de communes du Pays du Coquelicot .

geography

The municipality is located on the heights on the right bank of the Ancre river . The municipal area extends in the south to the Départementstraße D20 and meets Albert here . The districts of Mesnil and Martinsart are clearly separated; Martinsart is around 4 km north of Albert, Mesnil around 1.5 km north of Martinsart. There are several British military cemeteries in the municipality.
