Bécordel-Bécourt is a northern French municipality with 160 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality belongs to the canton of Albert and is part of the Communauté de communes du Pays du Coquelicot .
geography
The district of Bécordel is located south of the D938 from Albert to Péronne , three kilometers east of Albert, the district of Bécourt around two kilometers north between Bécordel and La Boisselle (municipality of Ovillers-la-Boisselle ).
history
Bécourt was first mentioned in 1278 and Bécordel in 1363.
The municipality, which was destroyed in July 1916 during the Battle of the Somme , but rebuilt after the First World War , was awarded the Croix de guerre 1914–1918.
