Beaucourt-sur-l'Ancre ( Picard Bieucourt-su-l'Inke ) is a northern French municipality with 95 inhabitants (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality belongs to the canton of Albert and is part of the Communauté de communes du Pays du Coquelicot .

geography

The commune, which borders the Pas-de-Calais department , is located on the right bank of the Ancre river . The D50 département road and the Paris – Lille railway line run along the Ancre .

history

The community, which was destroyed in World War I , was awarded the Croix de guerre 1914–1918.
