Ville-sur-Ancre (Picard: Ville-su-Inke) is a northern French municipality with 271 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality belongs to the canton of Albert and is part of the Communauté de communes du Pays du Coquelicot .

geography

The community is located about 5 km southwest of Albert on the southern (left) bank of the boggy valley of the Ancre between Treux and Méaulte on the D120 departmental road. The municipality extends in the south to the D1 department road from Corbie to Bray-sur-Somme .

The community was destroyed in the First World War.
