The municipality is located in the Arrondissement of Péronne , belongs to the canton of Moreuil and is part of the Communauté de communes Terre de Picardie .

The municipality is located in the agricultural landscape of Santerre around eight kilometers northwest of Rosières-en-Santerre at the intersection of the D136 and D165 departmental roads. The municipality is located south of the A29 autoroute and is crossed by the Amiens-Laon railway line.
