Chuignolles (Picard: Chugnole) is a northern French municipality with 152 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality belongs to the canton of Albert and is part of the Communauté de communes du Pays du Coquelicot .

geography

The municipality is located on the Santerre plateau around 4.5 km south of Bray-sur-Somme in the Natura 2000 project area .

history

Chiugnolles was part of the Lihons Priory . During the First World War , the place was destroyed except for the Saint-Léger church from the 18th century.

The community received the Croix de guerre 1914-1918 as an award .
