Yves Nicolin
Yves Nicolin (born March 5, 1963 in Le Coteau , Loire Department ) is a French politician . He has been a member of the National Assembly since 1993 .
Nicolin completed his law degree with a DEA in European law. During his studies he joined the Parti républicain in 1986 . He later belonged to the resulting parties Démocratie Libérale and UMP . In 1989 he became a member of the local council of Riorges near Roanne . In addition, he was able to move into the General Council of the Loire Department in 1992. A year later he ran in the parliamentary elections in the fifth constituency of the department and was elected to the National Assembly at the age of 30. In 1995 he moved to the Roanne City Council and was elected Mayor of the city in 2001. He was re-elected as a Member of Parliament in 1997, 2002, 2007 and 2012.
