Leschelle is a French commune of 270 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Vervins , the canton of Guise (until 2015 Le Nouvion-en-Thiérache ) and the municipal association Thiérache du Center .

Leschelle lies on the Iron River . Leschelle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chigny in the south, Lavaqueresse and a short section of Dorengt in the west, Esquéhéries in the northwest and north, Le Nouvion-en-Thiérache in the northeast and the municipality of Buironfosse in the canton of Vervins in the east.
