Berlise is a French municipality with 111 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Aisne in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016 Picardy ). It belongs to Arrondissement Vervins , the Canton of Vervins (2015 Rozoy-sur-Serre ) and the Association of Municipalities Portes de la Thiérache .

Berlise is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Thuel in the south, Noircourt in the west, Rozoy-sur-Serre in the north and the community of Renneville in the Grand Est region , Ardennes department , in the east.
history
On January 1, 2017, the municipality moved from the Arrondissement of Laon to the Arrondissement of Vervins by decree of the prefecture .
