Autreppes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Erloy in the north, Sorbais in the east, Haution in the south and Saint-Algis in the west.

history

Autrippes was part of the former royal domain that was donated to the Abbey of Saint-Denis in 915. Until the French Revolution , the village was raised to the status of an estate. Since 1790 the municipality belonged to the canton of Marly and in 1801 it was affiliated to the canton of Vervins.
