The place is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Le Nouvion-en-Thiérache in the east, on a short section of Boué in the south, Bergues-sur-Sambre in the southwest, Fesmy-le-Sart in the northwest and the municipality of Beaurepaire in the north sur-Sambre in the north.
